Lorsque j'ai voulu acheter mon poste TIG l'an dernier, j'ai consulté e-bey. J'y ai vu des postes TIG de FREE mais je n'ai pas souvenir d'y avoir vu des MIG. Il y a, semble-t-il, peu de temps que l'importateur allemand de FREE importe des MIG. Ce qui expliquerait l'absence de réponses.
Certains acheteurs du TIG de FREE s'en sont dits très contents.
Personnellement je n'en ai pas acheté parce que l'importateur ne semblait pas avoir de service après vente. Sur un post d'hier ou avant-hier, j'ai lu qu'un correspondant avait abimé son poste parce qu'il n'avait pas complètement déroulé sa rallonge électrique. Petite inattention mais grand besoin d'un service après-vente. Donc se renseigner.
Les facteurs de marche me semblent intéressants.
Les 1,6 / 2,4 / 3,2 paraissent être des sections d'électrodes enrobées et n'avoir aucun rapport avec une isolation. Fait-il électrodes enrobées'
Il n'est pas dit s'il fonctionne avec gaz, ce point est très important.
Enfin ma petite expérience m'amène à penser qu'il faut pouvoir essayer le poste avant de l'acheter.

-> 0,6 und 0,8mm! You can change easily with snap closing

-> You can weld with CO² (not included in the delivery)

-> Yes, you can find them everywhere
8. Can I invert the voltage so I can use metal-cored wires ?
-> No this is not possible
9. Can I use it for MMA welding ?
-> No

- Pas d'argon possible
- pas d'inversion de phase
- diamètre fil maxi de 0.8mm
- pas de specification technique disponible avant vente: il faut acheter pour savoir ce que l'on va recevoir ! [big]

j’ai décidé de contacter la société chinoise qui fabrique ces postes MIG, à savoir la société

Here are my questions:
1. Could you send me the full datasheet in pdf or other electronic format so I can add
it on the biggest french forum dedicated to welding machines ?
--- for the standard model SYMIG205, Please see the specifiation sheet or
the attached operator insturction for the modified model( but he never asked for the MMA
and TIG feature on the welder up till now).
2. Can it reverse polarity ?
--- Yes, the standard model is without reverse polarity feature,
But we have already made the modification according to the requirement of our exclusive
distributor in Germany and AU/NZ, now it is with " reverse polarity" feature, "+" means " gas"
welding for solid mig wire, "-" means " no gas" welding for flux cord wire.
Please see the attached photos.
3. Can it be used with Argon and CO² ?
--- Yes, Argon and Co2 can be adpoted on this machine.
4. Concerning gaz connections, is the product delivered with hoses and regulation ? Otherwise what is the plug size/type ?
--- The welder is with 2m inlet hose, but without the gas regulator because the inlet/ outlet
fitting sizes in different country is different, you can purchase the relative gas regulator in
your local market.
5. Is it suitable for steel, stainless stell and aluminium welding (max thicknesses) ?
--- For the 200Amp mig welder with 35% duty cycle @200A output, it is suitble for welding
range from 0.8mm to 4mm sheet. the detiales is about,
For mild steel, 0.8-4mm
For stainless steel, 1.0-3mm
For aluminum, 1.5-3mm
6. What is the torch specification ?
--- The Mig torch is adpoted MB 15AKx3m( rated current is about 180Amp),
it can help the operator to control the max. welding current not exceed 200Amp limited.
7. What adjustment is there on the wire speed ?
---The max. wire speed can reach rated 12m/ min, But the actual speed is much depended
on the experience of the operator,the sort of the wire and the wire size,
relative volt set,etc. while welding, the principle of welding is limited the 200Amp.
Is it right'
8. Does it have the pre/post-flow gas adjustement ?
---Nearly for all mig welding machine as normal, the pre/ post-flow gas time is fixed by the
Engineer in advance, usually the pre-gas time is preset at 0.2 to 0.3 seconds,
the post-flow gas time is preset as 5 to 10 seconds. the operator can't adjust the time.
9. What is the warranty on the French soil ?
--- Usually for european market, We promise 2 years warranty to our customers from
the shipping date( the B/L date). in the period, We can provide the warranty parts and
the technical support/ solution according to the deatiled feedback to the problem of
our machines.( not include the accessories).but the repairing jib must be done by our
distributors themselves.
10. What is your price for this product delivered in France ?
--- We only offer the price on base of FOB Shanghai, If you prefer the CIF price,
We will quote it according to the sea port nae of France,
the quantity of your order,etc.
11. Does the product have the CE certification ?
--- For all of our mig welder, We haven't applied for the CE testing up tillnow,
but all the built of the welder are made according tot he standard and the requirement of
CE/EMC, even" Rohs" standard. So we still print the CE mark on our machine.Of course,
We may consider to apply the Ce/EMC testing ofr the mig welder in the future too.
By the way, We have already got the CE/EMC for some of our DC ARC welder,
DC tig welder, AC/ DC tig welder and air plasma cutter.
Don't worry about the quality of our machine.
And my final question:
do you intend to introduce soon (or do you have on shelves) a product that would respond to the following specifications: - IGBT technology on 16A fuse (20A max), 1 phase
--- Yes, We always adopt the IGBT technology for our SYNMIG205,
the IGBT is imported from the son company of Simens to keep the quality setadily.
But If the Max.output current must reach 200Amp, 16A fuse( 20A max.) is impossible,
We must rankly to tell you the truth. that is to say, 16A fuse can't obtaine
200Amp out put on the welder. I know that some other machine from China,
they are marked with the max. current 200Amp, the fuse 16Amp,
it's a real lies, because most of personal useres don't know it clearly.
- MIG + MMA + TIG process enability
For the standard model, it only has the MIG welding feature,
But after modification with " +" and "-" socket on the front of the welder,
the welder can have DC MMA feature and the simple tig welding feature which ARC start
mode is adpoted contact arc ignition- lift ARC start. of course, the MMA and the lift arc tig
welding are the auxilary features on the welder. and you should pay the extra cost of the
electrode holder+ cable+ connector and the tig wlding torch+ cable + connector for it.
- Pilot current 3A to 150A, minimum duty cycle 140A@35% and 80A@100%
For the SYNMIG205, the welding current range is 40A to 200Amp.
the duty cycle can reach 200A@35% and 120A@100%,
it has already exceed your requirement. for your required Mig welder,
We believe that our model INV MIG200 is enough,
it can reach 160Amp @30% duty cycle and 85A@100%.

But we don't know what do you mean ''pilot current 3A to 150A'' so well,
Can you explain it to us in detailes for better understandings.
- 50/60V MMA, 15V MIG/TIG
--- We don't know what's the voltage you refer to,
Can you explain it to us in detailes for better understanding.
But We believe that the welding volt is depended on the setting of the operator
( such as the sort of meaterial for welding,size of mig wires,thickness of the workpieces, etc.),
in our operation manual, all the features about the MIG welding has been indicated there,
but as for the MMAS and the Tig wedling, because they are only the additional feature for
option, We haven't indicated it in the manual.
Of course, We can add the relative featuresin it in the future
if you have the requirement for them.
- 4 guiding wheels (2 motorized) for aluminium coil enability
--- I know it's better to adopted 4PCS feeding wheels for aluminum wires,
We have the professional MIG welder with such a feeding assy on,
but for the small Mif welder SYNMIG205, it just adpoted the wire feeding ASSy with 2 roolers.
Otherwise, the size of the portable mig welder will become too large.
you can see teh wire feeing assy from the attached photo.

If you want to weld Alu. material by our SYNMIG 205,
you should change the contact tip of the Mig torch to be Alu. contact tip,
and the rooler/Wheel to be " U" type, because on Our SNYMIG205,
it only fit the normal " V" type roller/Wheel for the regular Mild steel.
- Weight under 20Kg
--- The net weight of our SYNMIG205 is about 26KGS, But our INVMIG200 is about 18KGS.
- Gas/No gas
--- Yes, the reverse polarity "+"/"-" is for Gas / No gas.
- Aluminium/steel/stainless steel
--- As I explained to you above, Please see it again.

After check our explanation and the operation Manual of our modified SYNMIG 205,

Le deuxième a un moteur avec 2 galets d'après le vendeur mais le premier FREE inverter SYNMIG 205 est capable de souder l'alu avec un "spool gun"
